Pathway overview
For the foreign-citizen fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen, to travel to the U.S. and marry within 90 days of entry.
Verified directly from the State Department's own eligibility page: your U.S. sponsor must be a citizen (not a lawful permanent resident); both of you must have been legally free to marry when the I-129F petition was filed and must have remained so since; your marriage must be legally possible under the law of the U.S. state where it will take place; and you must generally have met in person within the past two years — USCIS may grant a narrow exception based on extreme hardship to the sponsor, or if meeting beforehand is contrary to your culture. You must marry within 90 days of entering the U.S. on this visa.
