Pathway overview
For entrepreneurs establishing, owning, or partnering in a business in Saskatchewan.
IMPORTANT — verified directly from Saskatchewan's own government page: effective March 27, 2025, the SINP has permanently closed all Entrepreneur and Farm immigration pathways. No new applications, expressions of interest, or invitations to apply. Applications already in the system continue to be processed to completion. Historical requirements, for reference: a minimum of CAD $500,000 in Net Business and Personal Assets, at least 3 years' relevant business management/entrepreneurial experience in the past 10 years, and a planned investment of at least CAD $300,000 in the Regina or Saskatoon census metropolitan areas (or CAD $200,000 elsewhere in Saskatchewan — the higher figure is the one encoded here). Also required: ownership of at least one-third (33.33%) of the business equity (unless total investment is CAD $1,000,000+), and creation of two employment opportunities in Regina/Saskatoon. Only net worth, investment, and experience are encoded as rules; the closed status itself means no real candidate can currently qualify regardless.
