Pathway overview
A pathway to permanent residence for skilled workers and international graduates with a job offer from a designated employer in Atlantic Canada.
Verified directly from IRCC's own eligibility pages. You must have a job offer from an employer designated by New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador, and at least 1,560 hours (about 1 year) of related work experience within the past 5 years, over a period of at least 1 year (international graduates from a recognized Atlantic Canada institution may be exempt). You must also meet a language requirement that depends on your job offer's TEER category — CLB 5 for TEER 0-3, CLB 4 for TEER 4 (not checked here, since this tool doesn't capture job-offer TEER category), an education assessment matching the job, and proof of funds. Though provincially targeted, this program is administered directly by IRCC — applicants apply to IRCC, not to a province — unlike Quebec's own Skilled Worker Selection Program.
