A post-study work visa for international students who have recently graduated with a degree from an Australian institution.

Verified directly from Home Affairs' own eligibility checklist. You must be 35 years old or under when you apply (exceptions apply, not checked here), hold an eligible visa, have held a Student visa in the last 6 months, and have a recent qualification from a CRICOS-registered course relevant to the skilled occupation list. Stay is usually 2-3 years depending on qualification (5 years for Hong Kong/BNO passport holders). Cost: from AUD 5,750, as published at time of research. Two other streams — Post-Vocational Education Work (for associate degree/diploma/trade holders) and Second Post-Higher Education Work (for graduates in regional areas) — have different criteria and aren't covered by this rule set.
